Adult & Child First Aid/CPR/AED Class
This course prepares participants to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults and children. This is a blended learning course including an online portion and an instructor-led classroom skill session.
Prerequisite Online Course
The online portion must be completed prior to attending the in-class portion and must be taken on a PC or tablet with a high-speed internet connection. Allow approximately 2 hours to complete the online portion. Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a digital certificate valid for two years. Proof of completion of the online portion will need to be brought to the class.
Class Sessions
Participants will need to attend one in-class session. Class sizes are limited. When session 1 fills up, the second session will be opened.
• Session 1: Check-in: 8:30 am; class: 9 am – 10:15 am
• Session 2: Check-in: 10:30 am; class: 11 am – 12:15 pm

It is recommended that the online session be completed as soon as possible to ensure you have completed it prior to the in-person skill session. The online portion must be taken on a PC or tablet with a high-speed internet connection.

What to Bring

- USB drive for electronic copies of materials
- Activity uniform - comfortable Scout appropriate clothing
- BSA Health and Medical Record (Parts A & B for all Scouting events)
- Proof of completion of the online portion using one of the following methods:
- Print your online course completion record available at the end of from the course and show it to your instructor it will read Proceed to Skill Session
- Show your instructor the email you received confirming completion of the online portion
- Log in to the online portion and show your instructor the completion status that appears above the Launch Course button
