Ordeal Candidates
(for candidates attending summer camp) 

Scouts, in troops, crews, and ships who were elected to the Order of the Arrow. To be eligible candidates have 24 months from the date of election to complete their Ordeal if elected prior to 1/1/23. If elected after 1/1/23, candidates have 18 months to complete their Ordeal. 

You do not have to participate in a call-out ceremony before going through your Ordeal. You must complete the Ordeal to become an official member of the Order of the Arrow.  Candidates must be a member of a troop in the Sam Houston Area Council.
