Wilderness First Aid Course
Due to the Covid-19, we have temporarily closed registration. We will reopen registration closer to the event if it looks like we can safely hold the event.
Wilderness First Aid is the assessment of and treatment given to an ill or injured person in a remote environment where definitive care by a physician and/or rapid transport is not readily available. The BSA requires at least one person (two preferred) per unit to be Wilderness First Aid certified for certain high-adventure camp and backcountry experiences.
Prerequisites: Minimum age 14; current certification in Adult CPR/AED training.
Registration: The registration fee is $90 and includes lunch. Class size is limited to 60 participants. At this time, only two people from each unit will be accepted.
