Shooting Sports Merit Badge Fulfillment Day
Shooting Merit Badge Fulfillment Class is an opportunity for Scouts who have a partial merit badge in rifle or shotgun to complete the badge. This is not a merit badge class, but an opportunity to clear up your partial! Scouts typically receive a partial merit badge because they did not meet the minimum shooting score requirement, or did not clean a firearm.
Scouts can attend one or two sessions for cleaning, archery, rifle, or shotgun:
- 8am-10am (arrive by 7:45 am; be on time)
- 10am-12pm (arrive by 9:45 am; be on time)
There is a maximum number of Scouts for each class session. Classes that are full will not show. There is a waitlist option. If you choose the wait list, you will not be charged until a spot opens.
The cost to attend is $2 camp activity fee, plus • Cleaning $5.00 • Archery $15.00 • Rifle $20.00 • Shotgun $30.00
Scouts may not be dropped off or left unsupervised. Adult supervision is required.
Each Scout will need to bring:
- Documentation indicating the requirements already completed (e.g., blue card or documentation from the unit advancement chair or Scoutmaster).
- BSA Medical Form (Parts A and B for all Scouting events - completed and signed by parent/guardian)
