SHAC Corps / Service Weekend / Ordeal Staff Registration
S.H.A.C. (Scouts Helping at Camp) Corps is an opportunity for troops and crews to give back to camp in the form of a day of service. The Order of the Arrow is leading this opportunity, but this service project is open to all troops and crews. Camp is providing a special patch that will only be available to those who provide service. Service projects could include camp maintenance, creating trails, and developing program areas. Letters will be given to youth who need school service hours. For event details and what to bring, visit shac.org/shac-corps.
Troop/Crew/Ships Registration: Registration is completed by the unit leader. Troops/Crews/Ships can camp for the weekend and have the option to eat (four) meals cooked by the OA cook team or cook their own food at their campsite. Any Scouts attending their Ordeal need to register separately at oa.shac.org/ordeals.
Individual Arrowman / Ordeal Staff Registration (OA members): The registration fee includes camping and four meals. Each Arrowmen must complete a separate registration. Event Details: For event details and what to bring, visit oa.shac.org/service. Questions: For questions or information, please contact your chapter leadership team (http://oa.shacbsa.org/chapters). Staff Training: Elangomats will need to attend training the week prior to the Ordeal. The training will be held twice. The dates and links to the training will be sent to all the Elangomats. All other staff will be briefed at the event.
