Ordeal Candidates 
(for candidates not attending camp)

Scouts, in troops, crews and ships who were elected to the Order of the Arrow after February 1, 2019, have 24 months from the date of election to complete their Ordeal (typically its one year). You do not have to participate in a call-out ceremony before going through your Ordeal. You must complete the Ordeal to become an official member of the Order of the Arrow. 

Background Check: Adults ages 18+ also need to complete a background form at least 10 days before the Ordeal.
