University of Scouting is a supplemental training opportunity, the only time during the year where you can find training opportunities for Scouters in all programs, all in once place.
The Fall 2024 event is designed to support new Cub Scout leaders and parents who need training. Courses are offered with a focus on all programs, whether Cub Scouts, Webelos Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing, Sea Scouts, advancement, commissioner service, and STEM/NOVA provide information, techniques, and best practices on how to enhance the Scouting program. Merit Badge classes will be offered for older youth members to help make it easier for parents to attend. Other offerings include Trainers Edge, and a training for Den Chiefs and Troop Guides.
Whether new to the program or a veteran of many years, the event provides interesting courses applicable to all Scouting programs. Sessions are led by experienced volunteers who will help leaders and parents enhance their ability to deliver a fun and exciting program to the Scouts.
The early registration discount ends 11/1/2024. For more information, visit shacbsa.org.org/uos. |
