Cub World At Camp Strake
Day Camp is an opportunity for Scouts entering 1st – 5th grade during the 2014-2015 school year to make new friends, earn rank advancements and enjoy BB guns, archery, sports, skills, and crafts. Lots of volunteers are needed to make camp a success, so please consider volunteering. Adult volunteers can also register their non-Scouting children ages 3-5 (potty trained) and girls ages 6-13. Boy Scouts from 6th grade - 17 and girls ages 14-17 can also volunteer.
***Please carefully read all information listed below before proceeding!***
Registration: It takes about 8 minutes per participant to register. The medical form is now a part of the online registration process. In order to complete the application, have a copy of the shot records for every participant, emergency contacts and phone numbers and carpool contacts and phone numbers.
Adult/Youth Ratio: Each pack must have a minimum of one adult registered for every four youth registered per pack. If your pack does not meet this ratio, then your pack will not be able to attend camp. Please consider volunteering.
New: As of 5/20/14, background checks are being conducted, so adults can no longer register online.
Payment: At checkout, you may pay either with a credit card (with a $1.50 processing fee) or electronic check. Payment IS DUE at checkout. Registrations without payment do not show up in the system, and therefore will not be held.
Required Items for Adults Attending Camp (ages 18 and up):
1. Online application
2. Copy of Medical Insurance Card front & back (if insured)
3. Proof of Classrrom YPT (must be after 06/15/2012)
4. Attend Day Camp Orientation Training
***ALL Adults attending camp must attend both a Camp Orientation Training Session and Classroom Youth Protection Training (YPT). These trainings will be held at 7:00pm at Roundtable at Grace Crossing Church (105 FM 1488, Conroe, TX 77384) .
***Session Leader / Ranger Training will take place on 6/7/14 (time is TBD).
*** Camp Set up (for session leaders, rangers and volunteers) will take place on 6/7/14 from 12PM - 3PM
ALL REGISTRATION PAGES MUST BE PRINTED AND SUBMITTED WITH COMPLETED MEDICAL FORMS TO CAMP REGISTRAR GILLIAN SMITH AT ROUNDTABLE.
Receipt: Please print out the receipt that will be emailed to you.
