Merit Badge Camping Opportunity

A troop in Big Cypress recently experienced a terrible tragedy during their summer camp. A special camping merit badge opportunity is being held to help the Scouts in the troop. 

Adults are needed to help with all aspects of staffing this event. All adults attending must have current Youth Protection Training taken online at www.myScouting.org. Merit badge counselors are also needed and must be registered as a merit badge counselor.

Scouts in any troop who have adults who are willing to provide merit badge counselors and event staff may attend this special event.

The registration fee is $125 for Scouts and $100 for adults.

Event staff not attending with the troop need to register separately at www.big-cypress.shac.org/merit-badge-camping-opportunity.

Registration for specific merit badge class will open soon.  Registrants will be notified when registration for merit badge classes opens.
