Day Camp is an opportunity for Scouts entering 1st – 5th grade during the 2014-2015 school year to make new friends, earn rank advancements and enjoy BB guns, archery, sports, skills, and crafts. Lots of volunteers are needed to make camp a success, so please consider volunteering. Adult volunteers can also register their non scouting children ages 3-5 (potty trained) or girls ages 6-13. Boy Scouts and youth ages 14-17 can also volunteer.
Please read all information listed below carefully before proceeding!
Registration (*new): It takes about 8-10 minutes per participant to register. The medical form is now a part of the online registration process. In order to complete the application, have a copy of the shot records for every participant, emergency contacts and phone numbers and carpool contacts and phone numbers.
Adult/Youth Ratio: Each pack must have a minimum of one adult register for every three (3) youth register per pack. If your pack does not meet this ratio, then your pack will not be able to attend camp. Please consider volunteering.
As of 6/9/14, background checks are being conducted; therefore, adults cannot register online.
Payment: At checkout, you may pay either with a credit card (with a $1.50 processing fee) or you can click the mail box option and send your payment to your Pack Representative or the Cockrell Scout Center. If you chose the mailbox option, your registration will not be complete until payment is received.
T-shirts: You may purchase extra t-shirts for $7 and extra patches for $2
Boy Scouts and Junior Staff can sign up to take either the Safety Merit Badge or the Space Exploration Merit Badge. There are no extra fees. The class will be offered during one rotation each day.
