2015 WEBELOS WOODS
Date: February 27 - March 1, 2015
Schedule:
- Campsites ready for set-up 4:00 pm, Friday evening (no Saturday check-in)
- Check-out is 8:30 – 10:00 am, Sunday morning (no early checkout)
Location: Challenger Seven Memorial Park, 1/2 mile west of I-45 on FM528
Registration: Registration should be submitted by individual patrols. T-shirts must be ordered by 2/18/15. Patches are not guaranteed for late registrations.
You may pay online (with a $1.50 convenience fee) or click the “mail box” at check out and drop off your payment WITH a copy of the receipt that will be emailed to you at:
- Clear Lake Scout Shop (Saturn & Bay Area Blvd - 281-282-6067) or
- February Roundtable (2/6) at House of Prayer Lutheran Church (14045 Space Center) from 7:00 – 9:00
Patches: Each pre-registered Webelos will receive a Webelos Woods patch and T-shirt. Additional patches will be available for purchase at registration for $2. Webelos registering after the deadline (Feb 15) will receive a patch if available.
Medical Forms: Medical forms (Parts A & B) are required at check-in on Friday night for each scout and adult attending.
Leadership: Two-deep leadership is required for each patrol. In most cases, the Webelos Scout will be under the supervision of his parent or guardian. It is essential that each Webelos Scout be under the supervision of a parent approved adult (Guide to Safe Scouting). If a parent cannot attend, arrangements must be made for another youth’s parent (not the Webelos leader) or another adult to be a substitute. No parent should be responsible for more than one boy other than his or her own.
Rain date: Refunds will not be given. Substitutions are allowed. In the event of really bad weather (event is typically held rain or shine), a message will be posted on our district Facebook page and district email newsletter if Webelos Woods has to be cancelled.
