Day Camp is an opportunity for Cub Scouts entering 1st – 5th grade during the 2016-2017 school year to make new friends, work toward elective adventures, and enjoy BB guns, archery, sports, and crafts.

Lots of volunteers are needed to make camp a success, so please consider volunteering. Adult volunteers can register their non-Scouting children ages 3-5 (potty trained) or girls ages 6-10 for the Tot Lot. Girls ages 11-13 can help in the Tot Lot on days their parents are volunteering at camp. Boy Scouts (under the age of 14) can register as den chiefs or for the service patrol, and boys and girls ages 14-17 can volunteer as junior staff. Youth volunteers ages 11 - 17 must attend Camp Orientation Training.

Before proceeding, please carefully read all information listed below!

Registration: In order to complete the application, please have carpool contacts (must have at least one) before beginning the registration process. It is very important to complete the entire process (through payment). All uncompleted registrations are deleted every evening at midnight.

Payment: At checkout, you may either pay with a credit card (with a $1.50 processing fee), or you can click the mail box option and give your payment to your pack representative when you turn in your health form.

Adult/Youth Ratio: Each Pack must have a minimum of one adult den walker registered for every four (4) youth registered per rank. If your Pack does not meet this ratio, then your Pack will not be able to attend camp. Please consider volunteering.

Paperwork requirements for ALL participants:

1. Complete online registration
2. Submit a BSA Annual Health and Medical Record Parts A & B to your pack camp representative by May 21st. This includes: a. a copy of the participant’s medical insurance card (front and back, with participant’s name on the page) OR, if you are not insured, a sheet of paper with your name and the statement “Not Insured.” b. an up-to-date tetanus date (must be after June 10, 2006)

Adults attending camp must also:

3. Submit proof of classroom Youth Protection Training (YPT) to your Pack, Troop or Crew camp representative. (your card must be dated after 6/10/14) If you cannot provide documentation, plan to retake the course at camp orientation.
4. Attend Day Camp Orientation Training ALL adults attending camp must attend both a Camp Orientation Training Session and have a current Classroom Youth Protection Training (YPT) dated after 6/10/14. Youth volunteers ages 11 - 17 must attend Camp Orientation Training.

Camp Orientation will be first, then YPT. Orientation and YPT Dates:

• Tuesday, May 3, 2016 @ 6 p.m. at Austin Parkway Elementary, 4400 Austin Parkway, Sugar Land TX 77479
• Thursday, May 19, 2016 @ 6 p.m. Lexington Creek Elementary, 2335 Dulles Ave, Missouri City, TX 77459
• Saturday, May 21, 2016 @ 9 a.m. at LDS Church Sugar Land, 14555 Lexington Blvd Sugar Land TX 77478

Steps to completing online registration:

1. Fill out a registration form for each participant
2. Then click "Cart" to check out. NOTE: Your registration is not complete until your pack representative turns in your completed medical parts A&B, proof of insurance, proof of classroom YPT for adult volunteers and payment if needed. Not sure who your pack representative is? Contact your cubmaster or committee chair.


Cost
$65.00 per Tiger: going into 1st grade (or LDS age 6-7)
$65.00 per Cub Scout: going into 2nd - 5th grade
$25.00 per Tot-lot: age 3 - kinder with parent volunteer
$25.00 per Girl: ages 6 - 10 with parent volunteer
Late fee
After 5/24/2016 a fee of $20.00 will apply to all Cub Scout: going into 2nd - 5th grade Registrants.
After 5/24/2016 a fee of $20.00 will apply to all Tot-lot: age 3 - kinder with parent volunteer Registrants.
