Monday – Wednesday, June 13-15 and Friday, June 17 , 2016

M-W 8:30am-1:30pm Friday 6:00pm-8:00pm

Day camp is an opportunity for Cub Scouts entering 1st – 5th grade during the 2016-2017 school year to make new friends, earn rank advancements and enjoy BB guns, archery, sports, skills, and crafts.

Lots of volunteers are needed to make camp a success, so please consider volunteering. Adult volunteers can also register their non-Scouting children ages 3-5 (potty trained) or girls ages 6-13. Boy Scouts (under the age of 14) can register. Youth ages 14-17 can volunteer as junior staff.

Before proceeding, please carefully read all information listed below!

Registration: In order to complete the application, please have carpool contacts (must have at least one) before beginning the registration process. It is very important to complete the entire process (through payment). All uncompleted registrations are deleted every evening at midnight.

Payment: At checkout, you may either pay with a credit card (with a $1.50 processing fee), or you can click the mail box option and send your payment to your pack representative or the Cockrell Scout Center. If you chose the mailbox option, your registration will not be considered complete until payment is received. Payment must be received at least two weeks before camp.

Adult/Youth Ratio: Each pack must have a minimum of one adult registered for every three (3) youth register per pack. If your pack does not meet this ratio, then your pack will not be able to attend camp. Please consider volunteering.

Youth paperwork:

1. Complete online registration
2. Submit a BSA Annual Health and Medical Record (for Scouting events) to your pack camp representative
3. Submit a copy of medical insurance card (front and back, if insured) to your pack camp representative

Adult Paperwork (ages 18 and above):

1. Complete online registration
2. Submit a BSA Annual Health and Medical Record (for Scouting events) to your pack camp representative
3. Submit a copy of medical insurance card (front and back, if insured) to your pack camp representative
4. Submit proof of Classroom Facilitated Youth Protection Training (YPT) (must be after 6/13/13)
5. Attend Day Camp Orientation Training ALL adults attending camp must attend both a Camp Orientation Training Session and Classroom Facilitated Youth Protection Training (YPT).

These trainings will be held:

• Saturday, May 21st 10:00am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 1516 Wilson Rd. Conroe, TX 77301
• Saturday, June 4th 10:00am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 1516 Wilson Rd. Conroe, TX 77301


 


Cost
$75.00 per Tiger: going into 1st grade (or LDS age 6-7)
$75.00 per Cub Scout: going into 2nd - 5th grade
$25.00 per Tot-lot: age 3 - kinder with parent volunteer
$25.00 per Girl: ages 6 - 10 with parent volunteer
$25.00 per Girl: 6th grade - age 13 with parent volunteer
$25.00 per Boy Scout: 6th grade - age 13
