Big Cypress District Day Camp Registration - AM Session

This year’s day camp is based on the new Scouting program that goes into effect on June 1st, 2015.
Dates: June 8 - 11, 2015
Time: 8:30 am - 2:00 pm (note: we also have an afternoon camp from 3:00 pm - 8:30 pm)

Day Camp is an opportunity for Cub Scouts entering 1st – 5th grade during the 2015-2016 school year to make new friends, earn rank advancements and enjoy archery, sports, skills, crafts and wrist rockets.
Lots of volunteers are needed to make camp a success, so please consider volunteering. Adult volunteers can also register their non-Scouting children ages 3 thru children entering Kindergarten in the Tot-lot program or siblings entering 1st grade – 5th grade in the Rangers program. The Ranger program will not be doing the scouting program and will focus on age appropriate activities. Boy Scouts (under the age of 14) and girls entering 6th grade – age 13 can register. Please note that an adult must volunteer to work at day camp if they are registering a girl entering 6th grade – age 13. Boys and girls ages 14-17 can volunteer as Junior Staff.
Before proceeding, please carefully read all information listed below!
Registration: In order to complete the application, please have carpool contacts (must have at least one) before beginning the registration process. It is very important to complete the entire process (through payment). All uncompleted registrations are deleted every evening at midnight.
Payment: At checkout, you must pay with a credit card (with a $1.50 processing fee).
Adult/Youth Ratio: Each pack must have a minimum of one adult registered for every three (3) youth register per pack. Youth that are entering 6th grade and up will not be included in the adult to youth ratio. If your pack does not meet this ratio, then your pack will not be able to attend camp. Please consider volunteering.

1. Complete online registration
2. Submit a BSA Annual Health and Medical Record (parts A & B) completed and signed to your pack day camp representative http://www.scouting.org/filestore/HealthSafety/pdf/680-001_AB.pdf
3. Submit a copy of medical insurance card (front and back, if insured) to your pack day camp representative
Adults attending camp (age 18 and above):
1. Complete online registration
2. Submit a BSA Annual Health and Medical Record (parts A & B) completed and signed to your pack camp representative http://www.scouting.org/filestore/HealthSafety/pdf/680-001_AB.pdf
3. Submit a copy of medical insurance card (front and back, if insured) to your pack camp representative
4. Submit a copy of your CLASSROOM Youth Protection Training (YPT) (the date attended must be after 6/13/2013) Please note, that the on-line YPT training does not qualify for day camp.
5. Attend Day Camp Orientation Training (This is a yearly requirement!)
ALL adults attending camp must attend both a Camp Orientation Training Session and Classroom Youth Protection Training (YPT). These trainings will be held:

• Thursday, April 9th @ Cypress United Methodist Church located at 13403 Cypress North Houston Rd. (Time to be determined)
• Thursday, May 14th @ Cypress United Methodist Church located at 13403 Cypress North Houston Rd. (Time to be determined)
