Webelos To Scout Expo

AN EVENT FOR FIFTH GRADE WEBELOS

September 19-21, 2014

Brosig Scout Ranch - Sealy, Texas

There will be five activity stations. First Aid, Cooking, BB's, Archery, and Pioneering. Webelos will rotate through all five stations led by the Boy Scout Troops. To volunteer your Troop to lead one of these stations please contact angela_teague@sbcglobal.net.

Parents will complete "Boy Scouts 102" during the morning sessions. Following these sessions, there will be a Troop Fair from 3:00 to 5:30pm, where ALL Big Cypress District Troops will set up displays and activities in their campsites for Scouts and their Parents to visit. Troops can recruit new Webelos Scouts by showcasing their talents at cooking, activities, and teaching new skills! Parents will be looking for information regarding troops so please remember to have informational sheets to share!

The evening will culminate in a rousing campfire and ceremony hosted by Troop 179 & a special presentation by the Order of the Arrow.

All Scouts & Parents may participate in Messengers of Peace by bringing a donation for Boys & Girls Country. A detailed email will be sent after registration is complete.

The deadline for registering is 11 September 2014 via Doubleknot.

Health Forms (one per person attending) and a printed troop roster from Doubleknot MUST be turned in at the September District Roundtable on 11 September 2014
